Langham Preaching<\/a> is a programme of the Langham Partnership that exists to develop godly and biblical preachers across the world in an affordable and accessible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2022 the second All Africa Langham Preaching Consultation<\/strong> was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with 72 attendees from 26 Preaching Movements across the continent. Each Preaching Movement is a group of preachers in a different region who are able to learn and grow together in Biblical preaching and teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n

Rev Dr Femi Adeleye<\/a>, the Director of Langham Preaching Africa shared that \u201ckey leaders of Langham Preaching in the continent met up for fellowship, to listen and learn from one another, to grow in a deeper understanding of the identity, ethos, leadership, and ownership of Langham Preaching\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of the consultation was \u201cTransforming Facilitators for Transformed Preaching in Africa\u201d, with a particular focus on engaging with the \u2018New School Approach\u2019 which promotes indigenous ownership and diversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Showcase of God’s Work in Africa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Femi shared that \u201cThe global Langham Preaching family was represented by International Programme Director, Paul Windsor<\/a>; the Associate International Director, Ruth Slater; the Coordinator for Facilitator Development, Jennifer Cuthbertson, and the Personal Assistant, Administrative and Media Assistant, Esteban Amestegui.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul Windsor shared that he was: \u201cSo grateful to God for the opportunity to witness first hand the work of Langham Preaching sinking deep into African soil, as 75 leaders from across 27 countries gathered for a week in Addis Ababa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Femi noted that there were a number of exciting revelations to come out of the consultation that showcased God\u2019s work throughout Africa including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
