Dear Langham supporter,
Greetings to you from Langham Foundation! Thank you for your gifts to sustain us in the past. Without the grace of our Lord and your tangible support, we would not have been able to continue running the Langham ministry in the uncertain and increasingly difficult circumstances.

I mentioned in the message sent out in 2018 that we were rolling out the ‘indigenisation’ strategy in many countries where the church is under pressure. The process has commenced, some of these initiatives include, fourteen scholarships provided to theological students in this current year. the appointment of a local preaching coordinator in the big country to oversee the growth of training preachers and pastors and a writers’ workshop beginning in July this year. Hopefully this will lead to a longer term project of training theologians on how to write in their own contexts and in a style that will reach their intended readers.
How much do we need?
Our annual budget is HK$4.5 million and the latest bank statement shows a cumulative income of $2 million. A fundraising event for new donors held earlier this month raised around $600,000. There is still a shortfall of $1.9 million. In other words, unless the amount required is received before the end of June 2019, we would not have enough funding to cover our commitments made to the three programmes of scholarships, preaching, literature and to pay some of our operating expenses.
For this purpose, I am attaching the link of the donation form and would appreciate your serious and prayerful consideration to continue supporting us financially. Please indicate in the form how you would like to give, by cheque, credit card or bank transfer.
Thank you once again for being our partners in equipping and building up God’s church to fulfil the great Commission.
With blessings as always,
(c/o Nicholas Wong, Manager – Development)
